Introducing the new Office Protect Dashboard

With this dashboard, you can now view all your M365 tenants' critical data in one place, eliminating the need to navigate through each tenant individually to get the overview. Stay on top of potential issues, monitor trends, and manage your tenants more efficiently.

It provides an at-a-glance summary of your tenants health, last security events, and key performance metrics. This dashboard can be filtered on all or some of your tenants using the blue tenant selection banner.

The Office Protect team is working on adding more features to this new dashboard. If you have any suggestions, feel free to contact [email protected].

Your Users

  • Monitored users: number of users monitored by Office Protect.
  • Licensed users: number of users having a license assigned. This number also reflects the number of users being billed for.
  • Admins: number of administrators among your tenants. Note that administration roles can be assigned to both users and service principals.

You can generate an advanced report to get more details. To do so, click on the row and then "Generate report".

MFA Audit

  • Configuration issues: number of tenants on which MFA configuration issues have been found.
  • Registration issues: number of users not registered on a valid MFA authentication method.
  • Admins not protected: number of administrator users not being protected with MFA. It can be due to a missing MFA authentication method registration, or a tenant MFA configuration issue.

You can view the details when clicking on each row.

Health Status

Number of critical health statuses on each tenant. Tenants on which the Office Protect application is not active are flagged with a red alert pictogram and displayed on top of the list.

Healthy tenants are not reflected here.

You can view the details when clicking on each row.

Security Events

List of the last security events raised on your tenants. New security events are flagged with a New pastille.

You can access the event's details by clicking on it.
